Split it!
Last night I had dinner with a friend. We went to my favorite pizza place and had a little indulgence. Pizza is delicious, but obviously can be so high in calories and fat. In this case, we chose to eat calzone, which can be even worse! The beautiful crispy dough, brushed with oil and filled with full-fat cheeses. To ameliorate the damage from this high-fat meal, we split it! This is a great tactic when you're dining out. Go with a friend and share an entree. Research has shown that we eat what's in front of us, so if what's in front of us is 1/2 the food, then we will eat less. Not rocket science, but still a great tip - it's about the little things.
