I am a true believer that every food can fit into a healthy diet. That no food is taboo and we can really eat anything we want and still be healthy. That said, that does NOT mean that we
should eat anything we want if our goal is the pursuit of better health. To that end, I will periodically share with you foods that fit into a category that I affectionately call
food porn. (A term that I first read in the Nutrition Action Healthletter from the Center for Science in the Public Interest, a sometimes radical nutrition watchdog organization. cspinet.com) This is because, while you can eat anything and be healthy...sometimes it's just better to avoid a food altogether. These foods will be things that I cannot

lize any redeeming nutritional quality about.
Case in point...Kiddie Cereal Encrusted, Glazed Donuts.
These little
obscenities were found in a wonderful little bakery and restaurant in Athens, GA. Baked up sugar and white flour, dipped in more sugary glaze and topped off with sugary cereal...sure to elicit a very-near-sugar-coma effect very quickly. Tasty yes, nutritious no.
Definitely Food Porn!
